INESC TEC welcomes students from "Ciência Viva no Laboratório"

Ciência Viva no Laboratório is a summer internship program for students from the Portuguese 9th grade of Elementary School to the 12th grade of High School and Professional Education, which offers young people the opportunity to intern free of charge at national scientific institutions.

INESC TEC joins this initiative once again and promotes the internship "How are science and engineering revolutionizing health?", which takes place between July 7th and 11th. During this week, students will be able to explore emerging technologies through hands-on sessions, meet researchers from different areas, visit laboratory facilities and discover how scientific advances can have a real impact on people's lives. At the end, there is still room to develop an innovative project based on the knowledge acquired and present it in a final pitch to a panel of researchers.

Registrations must be made on the Ciência Viva website. Remember that, if you really would like to experience these activities at INESC TEC, you must select this intership as the first option, so that we can select you.
