Presentation and debate of the book "Que Pirâmide Humana?" by Manuel Heitor
The challenges that Portugal and Europe face, strongly influenced by the recent evolution of the geopolitical context, call for a broader discussion on the options of public policies for research, innovation and advanced training, and on how knowledge can support public policies.
Towards advancing the work developed in Engineering and Public Policies, INESC TEC and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto will host the presentation and debate of the book Que Pirâmide Humana? by Manuel Heitor. In addition to the official presentation of his book on "Knowledge and public policy options in Portugal: 2000-2030”, Manuel Heitor will also focus on the Report Align, Act, Accelerate – Research, Technology and Innovation to Boost European Competitiveness, which the High-Level Group he chaired prepared at the request of the European Commission.
