XVI Symposium on Bioengineering: "Solving Tomorrow, Today"
Every year, for more than 10 years, the Bioengineering Students Association from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto / School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (NEB-FEUP/ICBAS) organises the Symposium on Bioengineering (SymBio). Its main purpose is to present to the academic community the most recent and innovative projects in the area of Bioengineering with applications on issues of our modern society.
Keeping up with the diversity associated with Bioengineering, the programme includes a specific panel of both national and international speakers, for each one of of Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering and Molecular Bioengineering and five other panels, designed to be as transversal as possible, so as to portray the interdisciplinarity of several areas to which Bioengineering has yet to contribute significantly.
INESC TEC will participate in the event through its initiave TEC4Health, and the collaboration of the Centre for Biomedical Engineering Research (C-BER).
