CRACS organises Spring School with TACC
In the context of the UT-Austin|Portugal Programme, the Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems (CRACS) organised the Spring School in Advanced Computing TACC @ UP 2009, together with UT Austin’s Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), which took place in the city of Porto on 28 and 29 May.

TACC @ UP is an advanced workshop where main goal is to prepare researchers so that they can benefit from High Performance Computing resources and tools, thus leading to new and innovative lines of research. The main theme of the workshop was “Parallel Optimization and Scientific Visualization for Ranger”.
The workshop was given by a team of researchers from TACC, with the support of the UT Austin – Portugal Programme. Fernando Silva, Inês Castro Dutra and Ricardo Rocha from CRACS were the members responsible for the organization of the event.
