A group of researchers from CRACS - INESC Porto LA (Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems) has recently signed a contract with GEDI, S.A.
26th November 2007
The contract’s aim is to provide Scientific Technical Assistance so that GEDI is able to develop computer security infrastructures for its ID and Mobility engines, as well as for its integration with other applications and services.
GEDI, S.A. (http://www.gedi.pt) was founded in 1984 and its main activities are the design, development and implementation of computer solutions, namely in different areas of Public Administration.
The Scientific Technical Assistance stands on three important areas: WebServices (security requirements for WebServices, security standards for WebServices, XML signatures and encryption, XKMS-XML Key Management Systems and OASIS WS-Security).
Other important area is Identity Management (Federated identities, SAML architectures, SAML in J2EE Applications, Liberty Alliance and Shibolleth, as well as access control with XACML and its connection to SAM).
During the last area of intervention, it will be possible to carry out any other activities related to security systems and data, which may be perceived as requirements for the systems that are going to be implemented.
