29th May 2009

His main research interests are computer architecture and operating systems, microprocessor design, and verification of VLSI (Very-large-scale integration).

During his visit to CRACS, Hitoshi Oi had the opportunity to give a short presentation on the University of Aizu and his laboratory. The aim with this visit was to seek further collaborations between the University of Porto, and CRACS researchers in particular, namely for the exchange of student and doctorates from both universities. The necessary documentation to execute this programme has already been exchanged.
