INESC Porto participates in strategic seminars
João Peças Lopes, coordinator of INESC Porto’s Power Systems Unit (USE), has participated as speaker in a workshop promoted by the European Union on Energy Efficiency and Smart Grids, which took place in Lisbon, on 26 June. The theme of the presentation was "Smart Metering".

On the other hand, Peças Lopes participated in Paris (EDF) in a Think Tank that was organised by the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, carrying out a presentation on the challenges and opportunities for the electric sector, which are the result of the wind technology.
