INESC Porto researchers awarded with 1st and 2nd places for "Best Paper Award" at PRO-VE 2007

Jorge Pinho de Sousa, Lucas Soares, Dora Simões and Hugo Ferreira from the Manufacturing Systems Engineering Unit (UESP) won the certificate for "Best Paper Award" at the PRO-VE 2007 Conference.

The article awarded with first place was written by Jorge Pinto de Sousa (together with José Crispim from the University of Aveiro) and is called “Multiple criteria partner selection in virtual enterprises”.

The article awarded with second place was written by the other three researchers and is called “Ontology engineering in virtual breeding environments”.

The Working Conference on Virtual Enterprises (PRO-VE) is an international annual conference organized by IFIP WG 5.5 - Cooperation Infrastructure for Virtual Enterprises and Electronic Business (COVE).

The 2007 PRO-VE edition took place in Guimarães between 10 and 12 September at the Departamento de Informática (Computer Systems Department) from the University of Minho.
