This project is an extension of the results of Caalyx (IST FP6, 2007-2009) to a new market.

Besides INESC Porto, the following institutions are partners in this project: Fraunhofer Portugal (Portugal), CETEMMSA Technological Centre (Spain), Telefónica Investigación y Desarrollo S.A. Krankenhaus Witten gGmbH (Germany).

INESC Porto is responsible for the technical coordination, as well as for the development of an application used to monitor patients for mobile phones and a distributed monitoring platform based on observation patterns, which will be used by all participants in the project. CETEMMSA, in its turn, is the project’s administrative coordinator.

INESC Porto’s team involved in this project is set up by Ângelo Martins, Artur Rocha, Carlos Tavares and Mário Ricardo Henriques.
