INESC TEC helps organise international conference Wireless Days

Manuel Ricardo, one of the managers of INESC TEC’s Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit (UTM) and a professor at FEUP, is leading a track of the Wireless Days conference, which will take place between 13 and 15 November in Valencia, Spain.

Wireless Days is an important international conference that gathers specialised researchers from academia, research centres and industry, working as a platform to discuss and share experiences, ideas and results in the area of wireless networks.

As part of this scientific conference, Manuel Ricardo, together with a professor from the University of Calabria, Italy, is responsible for one of the six tracks, “Broadband Wireless”. The track leaders are in charge of analysing all papers submitted, with the support of external evaluators. In this task, Manuel Ricardo was supported by Rui Campos, area leader at UTM.

Wireless Days 2013 is co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).
