The session - which featured 25 participants from companies (startups, SMEs and a business group) and R&D institutes such as CIIMAR, INESC TEC, IPN, Cintesis (Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto) and the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute - was led by two elements of the European IPR Helpdesk, Claire Fentsch (Business Development Manager at EURICE - European Research and Project Office GmbH) and Jörg Scherer (CEO of EURICE). The session covered general aspects of intellectual property management under the H2020, and the Enterprise Europe Network was also presented.
The event is part of one of the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network project, which consists of disseminating information on European topics that are relevant to the internationalisation strategy of companies. At INESC TEC, the event was planned by Andreia Passos and Cristina Barbosa, researchers at INESC TEC’s Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE). CITE is the INESC TEC centre which hosts the services of the Enterprise Europe Network, but the team also includes elements of the Funding Opportunities Office (SAAF) and the Communication Service (SCOM).
