INESC TEC researcher appointed Distinguished Speaker of ACM, the largest Computing Machinery association

João Gama, researcher at INESC TEC’s Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD), has been appointed Distinguished Speaker of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

The researcher will hold this position for a period of three years.

Appointing world renowned researchers, the ACM’s Distinguished Speaker Program (DSP) brings together professionals and students from the computing area.

The ACM, the largest computing association, promotes the sharing of resources and the discussion of new challenges in this area between professors, researchers, professionals and students.
