INESC TEC researcher publishes book through Springer-Verlag
Alberto Adrego Pinto, researcher at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) of INESC TEC and professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, has recently published the second volume of the series "Modeling, Dynamics, Optimization and Bioeconomics", together with David Zilberman, of the University of California, Berkeley, USA.

Published in issue 195 of Springer's “Springer Proceeding in Mathematics and Statistics” collection, this volume has a preface signed by Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber of the Poznan University of Technology, Poznan, Poland and a total of 25 chapters that include selected contributions from the participants of the 3rd International Conference on Dynamics, Games and Science, held in Porto, on 17-21 February 2014, and of the 7th Annual Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference 2014, held in Berkeley, on 26-27 March 2014.
With this publication, the editors intend to continue the project that was started with the first volume of the series with the goal of presenting applications and innovative techniques for analysis and modelling with a focus on addressing current problems in areas as diverse as Bioeconomics, Biology, Bioenergy, Industry and Finance, among others. This project will soon continue with the publication of a 3rd volume of the same series.
