Presentations on data volumes distinguished at IJUP 2019
Researcher Miguel Ramalho from INESC TEC's Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) was distinguished with one the best oral presentations in the Engineering area of the Meeting of Young Researchers of the University of Porto - IJUP 2019, which was held between 13 and 15 February.
30th April 2019
The paper entitled “Incremental Tensor Factorization for Recommender Systems” addresses the use of n-dimensional tensors that combine context information in an effort of overcoming the more conventional approaches that don’t take advantage of those data. At the same time, it’s an incremental solution, in other words, it’s suitable for data streams and can be used for data volumes, which traditional implementations can’t do.
IJUP is an initiative for students and young researchers of the University of Porto, aiming at discussing results of research works in which they participated.
