USE participates in Smart Grids European Platform
The Power Systems Unit (USE) has participated through its coordinator, João Peças Lopes, in the General Assembly for the Smart Grids European Technological Platform, which took place in Brussels. João Peças Lopes, member of the platform’s Mirror Group, spoke on the theme of “Active Distribution Networks”.

The aim with this platform is to promote the development of future electrical networks, combining European research and development in the domain of intelligent electrical networks.
