UTM organizes meeting of the VISNET Network of Excellence
Last November 20, 21 and 22, the first general meeting of the second phase of the VISNET network of excellence took place in INESC Porto’s facilities. This meeting involved the participation of the 12 partners of the consortium.

The main purpose of this meeting is to solidify the work plans of the several work packages that approach subjects related to new paradigms in video coding, audio and video analysis, context-based adaptation of contents, quality of service and safety and protection of the authors’ rights.
The Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit (UTM) was represented by several elements of the networks and multimedia areas.
