INESC TEC organises summer school on computer vision and artificial intelligence

From 5 to 12 July, several PhD students, researchers and companies participated in the “VISion Understanding and Machine intelligence (VISUM) Summer School”, the first summer school in this area organised by INESC TEC’s Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit (UTM), together with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and the University of Porto.

INESC TEC launches biometric analysis competition

INESC TEC’s Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit (UTM) is organising the first edition of the Biometric Recognition with Portable Devices Competition that will be running until 22 June. The results will be presented as part of the ICIAR 2013 - International Conference on Image Analysis and Recognition, which will take place in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, between 26 and 28 June.
