The international event in the fields of Image Processing and Analysis, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Medical Image Analysis has been held annually, alternating between Portugal and Canada. The 2020 edition was “100% digital”, with the collaboration of five researchers from INESC TEC.

InstitutionalThe eighth edition of “VISUM Summer School” is already scheduled. The event is organised by INESC TEC and the Infante D. Henrique Portucalense University (UPT), and it will take place between July 6 and 10. The Summer School will feature internationally recognised speakers in the field of computer vision. This edition will introduce several new features, and take place through digital channels, thus overcoming the challenges of the current context and reaching a higher number of candidates.

InstitutionalThe tools developed by INESC TEC within the framework of the CHIC project – Cooperative Holistic View on Internet and Content were recently tested at PortoCanal. This was one of the 10 pilot-tests contemplated by the project, named Consumer-oriented and cloud-based TV production and distribution with decentralised inputs.
