About
I am a MsC student in Software Engineering at University of Minho (UMinho), specializing in Intelligent Systems (mainly zero-shot learning and object detection) and Application Engineering. I recently concluded my role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Dotmoovs, where I worked on building ML pipelines—from deploying high-performance inference models in the cloud to optimizing data workflows in healthcare and human physical activity analytics. The fast-paced startup environment was excellent for testing the limits of my creativity and technical skills, allowing me to innovate under significant constraints.
However, I decided to return to academia to pursue my dream of completing a PhD, and I am currently engaged in academic and research activities in a partnership between UMinho and INESC-TEC. My goal is to apply my skills to explore and expand the boundaries of human knowledge in zero-shot learning, computer vision, and machine learning.
