Leandro dos Santos Coelho (h-index: 68 Scopus • h-index: 81 Google Scholar, CNPq PQ-1B - Brazilian researcher) received the B.S. degree in Computer Science and also Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil, the doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from UFSC, and pos-doctoral research in Information Eng. in the Universitá degli Studi di Padova (Italy).

He is the founder of ALLIA Consulting and Mentoring, and an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Dep., Federal University of Parana (UFPR, Brazil). The activities of ALLIA are related to data science, artificial intelligence, forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, recommender systems, time series forecasting, among others to companies including PETROBRAS, Volvo Powertrain, O Boticário, Electrolux Italia, Siemens, WEG, Bosch, BRF, Banco Bari, and Laura/Munai.

In terms of research the main focus involves data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, metaheuristics, system identification, control systems, time series forecasting, neurosciences, and multiobjective optimization.
