Marcella Mendes is a researcher at the Centre of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship at INESC TEC. She is also a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering and Management at FEUP, conducting research on innovation and technological management. Additionally, she serves as an Invited Assistant Professor at FEUP in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Her professional experience includes working as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Brazil and consulting for Sebrae’s ALI programme in Rio de Janeiro, where she supported SMEs in implementing innovative strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management, specialising in Technology Assessment and Innovation Management, and has extensive expertise in bibliometric analysis, consulting, project management, and the fields of science, technology and innovation.
