AI for wEaviNG kpIs moNitoring and prEdiction

The installation context of weaving machines (looms), the weaving room, and the level of interconnection between the looms and management systems vary considerably among companies. The most structured installations have data collection systems that provide a real-time view of batch production progress and a measure of production efficiency for both individual looms and the entire facility. However, even in the most advanced systems, some limitations are still evident: data on the condition of the looms are not collected, there is no remote assistance or support for predictive maintenance and performance optimisation, and the data are often incompatible and difficult to integrate. The proposed AI4ENGINE system will be able to display the status of the machines in real-time through a configurable synoptic view, enabling the monitoring of KPIs. In addition, the system will provide support services such as maintenance scheduling, efficiency optimisation, and integration with the digital model of the plant.
