Model to manufacture customised footwear
The goal of project HighSpeedShoeFactory was to develop a new solution to produce customised footwear in 24 hours, thus changing the way the footwear industry operates. With this new technology, the manufacturing systems became more flexible and prepared to simultaneously produce small amounts and different models, as the unit is completely automated and interconnected by conveyors that assure the flow of raw materials and the product in its different stages. This new solution represents improvements in terms of efficiency, flexibility and layout, increasing productivity in the factory.
