Multi Technology Communication Infrastructure for the Smart Grid
This project was developed in cooperation with EFACEC and the goal was to create a multi-technology, redundant, and secure communications solution for Smart Grids, taking to consideration the bidirectional transportation of information between smart meters and a substation. The wireless component exploited emerging low-power mesh networking technologies such as 6LoWPAN and IEEE 802.15.4g.
