Acordo de Cooperação em P&D entre INESC P&D Brasil e INESCTEC para participação no projeto TECCON2

The goal of the project is to develop a polymeric insulator with 230 kV insulation class, equipped with optical fibre sensors for monitoring currents and temperatures. In addition, a supervisory system based on computational intelligence models for data retrieval and processing will be developed. Relevant information on the condition of power lines will be obtained by the sensors located at the tower, through a measurement unit, and sent via OPGW cables to the management and control centre. A feeding system will be designed to provide the necessary energy to the measurement unit.
