AgroIn - Annual Agribusiness Congress
Combining efficiency and profitability with more sustainable practices is the new normal. Farmers currently have a huge range of techniques and tools that allow them to invest in practices and management models that meet the market demands, but also the ambition to regenerate a good part of agricultural soil, protecting productivity and guaranteeing sustainability of the agro-systems.
However, are the currently available solutions sufficient? Is there knowledge to take bolder steps? Are there results to show?
It is to answer these and other questions that AgroIn is back for another day of sharing among professionals in the sector, under the theme "Green Trends: Where are we going?". The event takes place at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon on the 19th of April.
INESC TEC, in addition to being an R&DT partner of the event, will be represented by Filipe Santos, coordinator of the TEC4Agro-food initiative and researcher at the Center for Industrial Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIIS), who will make a presentation within the scope of "Technological Challenges" entitled "Mechanization and robotics".
