CTM Open Day 2023
The CTM Open Day 2023 will take place on May 10, at 14:00, in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
Under the motto "Communications and Machine Perception - Convergence and Societal Challenges", this year's edition will explore the relationship between telecommunications, sensing based on radio and computer vision techniques, and artificial intelligence. This initiative will address the technological challenges associated with the implementation of these solutions, and the impact of said technologies on society and environmental sustainability.
With different moments focused on innovation challenges in these areas, the program features Ivan Seskar as the main speaker, an expert from Rutgers University (US), who dedicates his work to wireless communications and is also responsible for the experimental laboratory in 6G telecommunications in New York. The CTM Open Day is an annual initiative of the Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia. This year we will be celebrating the 11th edition.
Registration for the event is free, but mandatory. Please register until May 4.
