European Researchers' Night 2021

The European Researchers' Night (NEI) is back on September 24, 2021 to celebrate science with the community in cities across Europe. This initiative, funded by the European Commission under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, is one of the main cultural events at national and European levels, attracting millions of visitors each edition. NEI intends to make known the life of scientists and the research they carry out, stimulating curiosity and interest and promoting a scientific career among younger people.

i3S is part of one of the consortia in Portugal, together with Ciência Viva and ITQB Nova, and is also involved in organizing activities to show the public the best research done in the city of Porto. INESC TEC is part of the group of entities with demonstrators on display, with the participation of the Center for Power and Energy Systems (CPES), the Center for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CRAS), the High-Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab), and the Center for Research in Biomedical Engineering Research (CBER).
