INESC TEC Open Week: "Come and discover the wonderful world of science and engineering"

Between May 7 and 9, INESC TEC will welcome all high school students to showcase the institute's science and technology work, during the initiative "Come and discover the wonderful world of science and engineering".

There are six activities in different areas - Power and Energy, Robotics (Marine, Industrial, and Agricultural), and Communications; all participants with benefit from special knowledge on said topics, with practical learning experiences at the laboratories, guided by the researchers themselves.

The registration must be made by the teachers. We will accept groups of students for each activity (maximum: 30 participants, accompanied by teachers, and not necessarily from the same school). The activities are all in Portuguese. There are six activities available - please check the agenda HERE.

There are limited spots available, so:

- we will consider the order of applications;

- for each registration, the teacher can only select ONE activity. If they want to choose more than one, teachers must complete more than one application;

- we will create a "waiting list" if the number of applications exceeds the number of available places for each activity. In the event of a withdrawal, we will follow the order of the list and contact the responsible person, based on the chronological order of submission.

- travel expenses for each activity will be covered by the schools.
