INESC TEC and ANJE promote entrepreneurship

Four companies have been launched as part of the initiative "IdeaMove: From Idea to Business", promoted by ANJE - National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, in close partnership with INESC TEC, and co-funded by programme ON.2 – O Novo Norte. And soon they will be six.

The Training Camps for Entrepreneurs and personalised coaching provided by the IdeaMove are now showing the first results, even though the programme is not yet concluded. These four newly created companies work in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector.

It is important to highlight that during their "training", the participants took part in a series of workshops jointly organised by INESC TEC and ANJE, with INESC TEC being responsible for the following areas: Financial Management, Investment Project Analysis, Design, Product Development and Management, Process Management Innovation; Mechanisms to Protect and Explore Intellectual Property, Strategic technology management and Tools for business development from technology perspective.

The initiative, carried out as part of project Tec-Empreende (also with the participation of INESC TEC), began with a contest of ideas and will culminate with a program which supports innovative businesses. The aim is to encourage and support ideas for creating new or improved products and services.

INESC TEC’s Unit involved in this initiative is the Innovation and Technology Transfer Unit (UITT).
