New project intends to provide broadband internet to where terrestrial networks can't reach

Visum 2019 Summer School gathered more than 50 researchers

From 4 to 12 July, the 2019 edition of “VISUM Summer School” gathered more than 50 researchers from 24 different nationalities in the city of Porto. The initiative, which was held at the premises of the Portucalense Infante D. Henrique University (UPT), was organised by INESC TEC and had computer vision and artificial intelligence as its theme.

Blue entrepreneurship, research, innovation and investment. This was the motto of the 2019 edition of the European Maritime Day (EMD), an annual event promoted by the European Commission (DG MARE), which took place on Lisbon Congress Centre between 16 and 17 May and that had the participation of INESC TEC.

Internet for ships in high seas has signature of INESC TEC
