Abstract
Portuguese Higher Education Institutions have more and more data that needs to be processed in order to get information and, therefore, Knowledge. In order to respond to this need, over time there have been several types of IS supported by ICT, which enables them to achieve these features and, at the same time, help with their daily activities. However, the continuous evolution of this technological component has led to a current high degree of complexity, from which the Information Systems Architectures emerged as means of increasing the effectiveness of its management and maintenance. Using the University of Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro as a case study, the research team proposed a generic ISA that enabled it to have a transversal vision of its IS, allowing the validation of existence/need IS focused on Information Management and decision-making under a multidimensional perspective, i.e., geared towards the various organizational levels, since the Operational level to the Strategic level, taking into account the information needs associated with each player.

UNIVERSAL ACCESS IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Abstract
Products should guarantee a sufficiently high user experience for all intended user groups. A good user experience means not only that it is sufficient to allow users to work effectively and efficiently with a product, but also that non-task-related quality aspects need to be considered. To attain various levels of user experience thus requires an efficient method to access the subjective impressions of a larger number of users toward the product. The authors show that this can be done with little effort by using a user experience questionnaire. However, such questionnaires must be adapted to the language and even to the level of language understanding of the intended target groups. Using the example of the creation of a Portuguese language version and a special version for children, the paper illustrates how the quality of the resulting adapted questionnaire can be evaluated.

Abstract
Higher education institutions are at this stage, on the one hand, faced with challenges never seen before and, on the other hand, their action is moving very rapidly into digital learning spaces. These challenges are increasingly complex because of the global competition for resources, students and teachers. In addition, the amount of data produced inside and outside higher education institutions has grown exponentially, so more and more institutions are exploring the potential of Big Data to meet these challenges. In this context, higher education institutions and key stakeholders (students, teachers, and governance) can derive multiple benefits from learning analytics using different data analysis strategies to produce summative, real-time and predictive information and recommendations. However, it may be questioned whether institutions, academic administrative staff as well as including those with responsibility for governance, are prepared for learning analytics? As a response to the question raised in this paper is presented an extension of a disruptive conceptual approach to higher education, using information gathered by IoT and based on Big Data & Cloud Computing and Learning Analytics analysis tools, with the main focus on the stakeholder governance. © 2017 Association for Computing Machinery.

Abstract
Discount and Outlet E-commerce Platforms (DOEP) are technologies with more and more influence in people's lives, and the literature on this subject is still somewhat scarce in relation to the proportion these platforms have today, in the context of e-commerce. In this study, the research team aims to characterize the variables that have the greatest relative importance in DOEP adoption, with the use of 25 experts related to IT and e-commerce in general. For this, a succinct literature analysis is done, in order to aggregate all the constructs that may influence the adoption of this technology. The contribution is distributed in the form of practical and theoretical implications, as well as future lines of action for possible investigations.

Abstract
This paper describes a set of models and algorithms used under a Tourism Recommendation System based in Users and Points-of-Interest (POI) profiles. This work aims to propose a recommendation system that considers user's functionality levels regarding physical and psychological issues. This proposal considers also in a different way to classify (POI) including their accessibility levels mapped with similar physical and psychological issues.

Abstract
Information technology has become one of the core elements of electronic government (e-Government) and should figure prominently in future governance. E-Government services, through electronic means, should provide a more cost-effective and convenient way for citizens to interact with government, however their adoption is still far from a satisfactory level. The study herein has examined research on the adoption of e-Government services. Using data obtained from previous research, this article identifies the variables that contribute to the adoption of e-Government by citizens and the model created is presented. Overall, this study concludes that e-Government has been adopted by many governments, but it is still at an early stage, and there are still barriers to its more widespread adoption in society.
