Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic is producing not only epidemiological consequences on a global scale, but also political, economic, and social repercussions. The health care professionals that have been on the front lines fighting the pandemic need the support and assistance of other organizations to meet the many daily challenges. Volunteer firefighters stand out for their outreach approach and implementation of the Human2Human paradigm that has enabled them to meet the needs of the most vulnerable population that have been hit the hardest by the pandemic. This study adopts an ethnographic-action method considering Portuguese volunteer firefighters to explore the characteristics and relevance of these initiatives in areas such as combating isolation, medical assistance, containing the spread of COVID-19, and promoting public-private partnerships. The findings reveal that factors associated with altruism are central elements in the emergence of these initiatives, although some locally or nationally coordinated initiatives have been replicated in other contexts. It is also noteworthy that volunteer firefighters also present initiatives that can be fit into more than one category.

Abstract
COVID-19 has brought new challenges to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals as proposed by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda. However, innovative projects developed by governments, private sector, and civil society present themselves as an opportunity to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on sustainable development. This study uses the Observatory of Public Sector Innovation promoted by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development to explore how innovative projects address the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Portuguese context is used to qualitatively characterize this phenomenon. The findings reveal that these projects also offer relevant contributions in areas such as public infrastructure support, health promotion, quality of education, and reduced inequalities. Abstract
This study aims to explore how Management 3.0 can assist and support the development of dynamic capabilities in SMEs. To this end, several dimensions of dynamic capabilities are considered, such as the process of identifying new market opportunities, idea generation, emergence of organizational changes, and support for innovation processes and the development of new markets. This research employs a qualitative methodology by conducting four case studies with software companies located in Portugal and Brazil. It identifies a set of key elements offered by Management 3.0 for the development of dynamic capabilities. Collaborative participation, teamwork, creativity, empowerment, agility, and entrepreneurial attitude stand out as fundamental and supported elements in the Management 3.0 paradigm for SMEs to develop their dynamic capabilities.

Abstract
The projects funded under the European Horizon 2020 program have responded to the challenges facing small enterprises and have provided a framework for different actors (e.g., universities, R&D centers, SMEs) to collaborate and find innovative approaches to address the challenges of digital transformation. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production supported by this project, between 2014 and 2021, evaluating 114 projects, which have associated 2312 scientific production items and 1460 deliverables. The results demonstrate that scientific production is mostly carried out collaboratively with project partners and is mainly published in peer-reviewed journals. The research demonstrates that resources, such as Horizon 2020, provide a useful adjunct to other databases as a basis for bibliometric and related analyses.

Abstract
COVID-19 affects people and companies. They are experiencing dramatic changes in work processes, communication processes, and customer management. This whole new paradigm has brought new challenges to organizations, particularly to small and medium enterprises, which have limited budgets and resources to ensure their technological infrastructure. This study aims to explore how these companies have adapted to the challenges posed by COVID-19 in their compliance practices with general data protection regulation (GDPR), auditing, and forensic security analysis. Furthermore, this study analyzes the risks that have been amplified in this period and identifies new vulnerabilities that have arisen from increased dependence on information technology in a period when most organizations have their employees in teleworking.

SUSTAINABILITY
Abstract
The achievement of the 2030 Agenda implies a shared responsibility in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Local government, in particular municipalities, is closer to citizens and, therefore, better placed to respond to the needs of each region. This study intends to explore initiatives promoted by civil society, businesses, and local organizations in the context of each municipality in Portugal to address the sustainable development goals established in the 2030 Agenda. It adopts mixed methods to quantify the impact of these initiatives in the territories and qualitatively explores the inherent characteristics associated with each project. The findings show that there are significant asymmetries in the number of projects in the Portuguese regions and that there is a moderately positive correlation between the number of projects and the municipality's population density and GDP. It was also found that the projects focus mainly on areas such as SDG1, SDG1, SDG11, and SDG13. The projects are mainly characterized by offering platforms for collaborative work among the various stakeholders, seeking to meet the challenges of combating social exclusion, and supporting environmental education. Above all, this study offers implications for local agents to work in networks and establish synergies between projects that may lead to greater territorial coverage and contribute to reducing the socioeconomic asymmetries that exist in the country.
