Work description

- Study and selection of tools for monitoring multi-architecture energy consumption: Fujitsu A64FX, Nvidia Ampere A100 and AMD Rome 7742. - Design and implementation of a solution to generate reports containing information on the ecological footprint of works. The tasks described in this work plan require the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Computer Engineering typically taught in curricular units that compose the core of the study plan of Integrated Masters in Computer Engineering or Masters in Computer Engineering.

Academic Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc programme in Computer Science.

Minimum profile required

- Previous experience in Linux environments;- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming.

Preference factors

- Knowledge of tools for managing large IT infrastructures; - Knowledge of programming languages and tools for automating tasks in the Linux operating system; - Knowledge of HPC job scheduling tools.
