Work description
Support in the acquisition and management of clinical data in the field of epilepsy, with a focus on patients with implanted deep brain stimulation systems. Using the data to implement new neurostimulation strategies by modelling brain stimulation strategies using brain atlases and combining them with brain signals. Investigating new interactions between different brain regions in order to optimise stimulation in patients with epileptic seizures.
Academic Qualifications
Master in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computers, Physics Engineering or similar.
Minimum profile required
Familiarization with the area of Neuroengineering using brain modelling tools, as well as brain atlases. Good knowledge of signal analysis and processing as well as programming.
Preference factors
Knowledge of artificial intelligence classification methodologies. Previous contact with the epilepsy area and preferably with deep brain stimulation signals. Previous contact with EEG data collection systems and familiarization with the clinical environment.
