Work description
- Identify potential poisoning vulnerabilities in the use of federated learning with respect to attacks, in particular poisoning attacks. - Consider scenarios with time series and movement data. - Propose and evaluate solutions for attack detection and mitigation. - Submit a paper to ECML/PKDD 2025.
Academic Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or Data Science,
Minimum profile required
Publications in Machine Learning (at least 1 journal publication as first author in AI in a Q2 or upper journal – scimago, at least 2 conference papers in CORE)
Preference factors
Research experience with time series and federated learning.
