Work description

Review of methods and techniques, design and implementation of a software framework for creating AI pipelines for industrial systems. Structuring a knowledge base and producing associated documentation.

Academic Qualifications

Computer Science.

Minimum profile required

Doctors with limited post-doctoral experience, having developed relevant work in the area of ??artificial intelligence, data and robotics compatible with the category of junior researcher. Candidates must have published at least 1 article in 1st quartile SCOPUS journals in the area of ??“Computer Science” or similar; be the author or co-author of articles in conferences and magazines indexed to the SCOPUS database, at least 10 articles in the last 5 years on the competition theme; have an H-index of at least 9 (Google Scholar or SCOPUS database).

Preference factors

• Experience in developing solutions in the competition area. • Participation in projects in the competition area. • Scientific publications in quartile 1 journals on topics in the competition area. Motivation letter for the role must include an activity and individual career development plan for a maximum period of 6 years. The description must demonstrate the alignment of this plan with INESC TEC's strategy (see chapter 2 of INESC TEC's Activity Plan for 2024), with the HumanISE Center's research lines, and with the functions to be performed. It should not contain more than 2000 words or more than 5 pages.
