Work description
The selected individual will engage in leading both business development initiatives and comprehensive research projects within the health technology sector. This encompasses areas such as machine learning, deep learning, data science, medical imaging, and computer-aided diagnosis. The role involves supervising undergraduate and master's students, thereby contributing to their academic and professional growth. This role involves also efficient project management from concept to execution, ensuring impactful outcomes and sustainable value creation in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships, develop and negotiate funding proposals, and lead the promotion and participation in R&D projects, aiming to maximize impact and innovation in healthcare. Managing a portfolio of funded projects, valorising research findings, and active interaction with key stakeholders, including companies, hospitals, and academic institutions, will be critical components of this position
Academic Qualifications
MSc in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum profile required
The candidate must have robust skill set in programming (e.g., Python) and experience with various imaging modalities, notably CT, but also including X-Ray and ultrasound
Preference factors
Experience in business development in the health domain and consortium management
