The work plan will be developed in collaboration with INESC TEC's distributed systems group, and includes the following main tasks: Research in the areas of distributed systems, operating systems and storage systems. Academic Qualifications

PhD degree in Informatics

Minimum profile required

- PhDs with reduced post-doctoral research experience or no post-doctoral scientific curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying;- Research experience in monitoring and diagnosing the performance, correctness and resilience of data-driven applications;- Scientific production (i.e., publications, prototypes, etc.) in the previous topic;- Experience with observability and monitoring technologies, namely eBPFs;- Experience using containers, Kubernetes and tools for automating the installation and configuration of applications (e.g. Ansible).

Preference factors

- Participation, possibly including positions of responsibility, in research and development projects; - Guidance / supervision of other researchers; - Collaboration with other national and international researchers.
