Work description

The Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE) project aims to develop and industrialize new technologies to support the decarbonization of society, taking advantage of technological and scientific knowledge in the field of Energy in Portugal. O selected candidate will be responsible for the management and technical operation of a marine renewable energy production and injection site in the electricity grid and the control of renewable production. It must also implement an operation and maintenance plan and the evolution of the testing infrastructure, in particular regarding the specification of the installation's supervision, protection, command and control system which foresees the installation of a new substation and marine connections (offshore), a submarine cable to land and a substation on land with connection to the national electricity grid based on greater injection capacity into the grid.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or related field.

Minimum profile required

- Experience in renewable energy production solutions.- Experience in electrical production sites.- Experience in the design, configuration, or commissioning of supervision and control systems.

Preference factors

- Experience in command, control, and protection systems for medium and high voltage installations. - Experience in factory test definition procedures, certification tests, or commissioning. - Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken). - Fluency in English (written and spoken).
