Work description
Design of a resource disaggregation system that leverages different storage, memory, and network devices available at high-performance computing infrastructures; Prototype implementation of the previous design and corresponding integration with high-performance computing applications (such as deep learning engines and scientific applications); Experimental evaluation of the developed prototype under synthetic and realistic workloads.
Academic Qualifications
MSc Degree in Informatics Engineering.
Minimum profile required
Solid knowledge of memory-based systems (e.g., CacheLib);Solid knowledge of storage systems;Solid knowledge of operating systems;Solid knowledge of distributed systems.
Preference factors
Experience in the design and development of memory and storage systems; Experience with memory and storage systems used in production (e.g., CacheLib, RocksDB); Experience with the C++ programming language.
