Work description

The objective is to develop real-time control algorithms for microgrids, enabling secure islanding from the main grid. The algorithms developed will be tested under a real-time simulation model and Power Hardware In the Loop Infrastructure (PHIL) installed at INESC TEC Smart Grid and Electric Vehicles Laboratory.

Minimum profile required

Knowledge in power system dynamics;Knowledge in modelling and simulation under MAtlab/Simulink or Power Factory DigSilent.

Preference factors

Experience in modelling and simulation of microgrid systems; Programming experience (python); Experience in real-time digital simulators (OPAL-RT).

Application Period

Since 16 May 2024 to 13 Jun 2024
