Work description
To develop competences in the area of microgrids by reviewing state-of-the-art related to the operation of microgrids and the operation of hybrid storage systems; Support the development and consolidation of the laboratory test system for the AC/DC microgrid; Support the development and integration of an energy storage system in the laboratory, considering integration not only with the laboratory's electrical infrastructure, but also with the real-time simulation system and the laboratory's monitoring and control system.
Minimum profile required
Knowledge in energy storage technologies;Academic expertise in power electronics;Knowledge of programming (Python and C++).
Preference factors
Knowledge of control strategies; Expertise in managing battery charging and discharging processes; Knowledge of the use of current and voltage sensors; Knowledge of the use of microcontrollers; Fluency in English (spoken and written).
