Electrical Engineering with experience in power systems

Work description

The Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE) project aims to develop and industrialize new technologies to support the decarbonization of society, taking advantage of technological and scientific knowledge in the field of Energy in Portugal. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and technical operation of a production site and injection of marine renewable energy into the electrical grid and for the control of renewable production. It must also implement an operation and maintenance plan and the evolution of the testing infrastructure, in particular with regard to the specification of the data acquisition and supervision, protection, command and control system of the installation that foresees the installation of a new substation and marine connections (offshore), submarine cable to land and onshore substation with connection to the national electricity grid based on greater injection capacity into the grid.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or related field.

Minimum profile required

- Experience in renewable energy production solutions;- Experience in designing and sizing energy systems. (BT);- Experience in supervision and data acquisition systems;

Preference factors

- Experience in command, control and protection systems for electrical installations. - - Knowledge of electronics, networks and communication systems is valued. - Registration with the Order of Engineers is valued. - Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken). - Fluency in English (written and spoken).
