Energy Systems - Advanced Applications for Smart Grids
Work description
To develop advanced automation applications for the automation of transmission and distribution networks with high integration of distributed energy resources, namely for automatic voltage control. The work will also involve supporting the integration and testing of the developed algorithm in a virtualised protection solution at INESC TEC's smart grid and electric vehicle laboratory. It is also expected that reports and articles will be written to disseminate the work.
Minimum profile required
Knowledge in powers systems steady state modelling.
Preference factors
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. Experience with python programming
