Work description
1. Study of different REST frameworks, taking into account the real-time requirements of the project architecture, and selection of the platform to use for the implementation phase. 2. Implementation of the Broker, Application, gNB interfaces, and carrying out the first proof of concept with testing a specific use case involving a video camera, a 5G basestation (gNB) and a mobile terminal. 3. Carrying out performance tests, to identify the latencies involved and improvements that can be made. 4. Implementation of the LIS and CODRF interfaces, in accordance with the specification made. 5. Implementation of the LIS and base station (gNB) control interface based on REST in accordance with the services and API mentioned above. 6. Develop and install an FPGA platform (PINQ Z1) to interface between REST commands and the LIS itself, including Jupyter Notebooks overlay for advanced control. 7. Develop and install a computing platform to interface between REST commands and the Basestation. 8. Write the scholarship activity report.
Academic Qualifications
Enrollment in the Licenciatura in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Minimum profile required
Knowledge of programming languages and programming skills.
Preference factors
Participation in extracurricular activities involving practical electrical engineeering projects.
