Work description

1. Analysis of the state of the art in the area of near-field signal processing and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. 2. Study of the impact of the near field in relation to the far field in sub-THz communications scenarios. 3. Study of a protocol for generating amplitude/phase profiles of a RIS in near-field conditions, depending on restrictions imposed by the environment. 4. Creation of a signal propagation analysis tool in environments that integrate RIS in near-field conditions. 5. Write the scholarship activity report.
