Work description

- Research and develop tools for the integration of information systems with production systems (IT/OT); - Implement the tools in a laboratory environment, using automation and control technologies, as well as technologies for the integration of information systems with automation systems. - Identify industrial use cases and demonstrate the application of integration models and tools. - Publish results of research and development activities in conferences and/or scientific journals. - Write the Scholarship activity report.

Academic Qualifications

Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with solid knowledge of Industrial Automation Systems;

Minimum profile required

- Degree average higher than 13 marks;- Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Industrial Automation area;- Knowledge of discrete industrial processes.

Preference factors

- Knowledge of programming automation systems: programmable logic controllers, human machine interface consoles, SCADA systems and industrial communications; - Knowledge of SIEMENS automation technologies (S7-1500 range and Siemens Tia Portal programming environment); - Knowledge of OMRON automation technologies (NX range and Omron Sysmac Studio programming environment); - Knowledge of BECHOFF TwinCat automation technologies - Knowledge of programming using the CODESYS platform; - Knowledge of nodered, grafana and timesacleDB technologies; - Knowledge of OPC-UA; - Strong teamwork skills; - Knowledge of English and Portuguese.
