Work description
Study and identify state-of-the-art solutions for handling fabrics and flexible objects using a dual arm robot. Development of algorithms for planning picking and grasping postures in order to stretch/fold a given fabric. Testing in a simulated environment. Production of scientific articles and communication of results.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and related areas.
Minimum profile required
Experience in ROS Frameworks. Experience in Industrial Robots programming. Experience in artificial vision for robotics. Experience in the following programming languages: C# and C++.
Preference factors
Previous experience working with robot simulation software.
