Work description
- Develop real-time control and protection algorithms for the microgrid, considering the dispatch of different energy storage technologies and enabling islanded operation - Implement microgrid simulation models, including different energy storage technologies - Testing and validation using INESC TEC Smart Grid and Electric Vehicles Laboratory
Academic Qualifications
Master in electrical and computer engineering; power systems and other related areas
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge of power system dynamics- Modelling and simulation software (Matlab Simulink, etc.)- Programming experience (Python, C, etc.)
Preference factors
- Experience on microgrid operation and protection strategies - Experience with real-time digital simulation
